Studies from 'The Shining'





Tree-Eater



Here is another part of that same character design assignment from the earlier post. We had to devise a monster and draw two vignettes, one worm's eye and one bird's eye. Mine was pretty simple: A monster who eats trees attempts to consume the beloved tree-house of two small children as they viciously defend it. I tried to make the monster look a bit like a tree stump; I'm not sure how well that worked.
